1. Who we are

CovertView ("we", "us", or "our") provides a market screener. You set conditions, and the Service shows assets that match, with the metrics behind each match. We are based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the website and the screener, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in these categories:

• Account information: email address, name, and a password if you create one. If you sign in with Google, we receive the profile details Google shares for that sign-in, such as email, name, and a Google account identifier.

• Screening activity: filters, presets, and plain-language descriptions you submit so we can run a screen and return matches. We use that input to operate the screener.

• Usage data: pages and features you use, and approximate timestamps.

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and similar details needed to run and secure the Service.

• Communications: messages you send us, such as support email.

3. How we use information

We use this information to:

• Provide the CovertView screener, including running the conditions you submit and showing results.

• Create and authenticate your account, including sessions kept with an HttpOnly cookie.

• Respond to support requests and send product messages you opt into.

• Keep the Service reliable, prevent abuse, and protect security.

• Comply with legal obligations where they apply.

4. What we do not collect

CovertView is not a broker and does not place trades. We do not ask for brokerage logins, account numbers, or permission to trade on your behalf.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that the Service needs to keep you signed in and to protect your session. The refresh cookie is HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it.

You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and limit the product.

6. Sharing

We share information with providers that host, email, or otherwise operate CovertView, and with Google when you choose Google sign-in. Those providers process information for us under their own terms and obligations.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or similar transfer.

Market data shown in the screener comes from third-party sources and is delayed. That data is not your personal information.

7. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to run the Service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account information, subject to those limits.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including hashed passwords and HttpOnly session cookies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. International transfers

CovertView may process information in Nepal and in other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those places.

10. Your choices

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You can also stop non-essential product emails.

11. Children's privacy

CovertView is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of CovertView after that date means you accept the updated policy.
