The rules for using CovertView: what the product is, what it is not, and your responsibilities when you use it.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CovertView (the "Service"), operated from Kathmandu, Nepal.

By accessing or using the Service, including creating an account or browsing the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use CovertView.

2. What the Service is

CovertView is a market screener. You define conditions with technical and fundamental filters, strategy presets, or plain language. The Service finds assets that match those conditions and shows the metrics behind each match.

Supported markets may include US equities, ETFs, crypto, forex, commodities, and indices. Coverage can change. Plain-language screening is another way to build the same kind of screen, not a separate product and not investment advice.

CovertView is a decision-support tool. You decide whether to trade, and you do that through your own broker.

3. What the Service is not

For clarity, CovertView is:

  • Not a signal service. A match means an asset met conditions you set. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell.

  • Not a broker, dealer, or execution venue. The Service does not open accounts, hold funds, or place orders.

  • Not an auto-trader. It does not connect to your brokerage or require trading credentials.

  • Not a prediction of profit. Rankings and match scores measure how closely an asset fits a screen, not the chance of a gain.

  • Not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.

4. Market data

Market data in the Service is delayed by at least 15 minutes. Prices, volume, indicators, and screening results can also be incomplete, revised, or wrong.

We do not guarantee that data is accurate, complete, or current, or that a screen will produce any particular trading result. We do not make win-rate or profit claims. Check prices and conditions on your own charting platform and broker before you act.

5. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms where you live. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account, including access through email and password or Google sign-in.

Access may be limited, invitation-only, or otherwise restricted. We may refuse or close an account at our discretion.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.

  • Scrape, resell, reverse engineer, or copy the Service except where applicable law allows it.

  • Present CovertView results as personalized investment advice, or describe CovertView as a broker or signal provider.

  • Violate applicable laws or third-party rights while using the Service.

7. No advisory relationship

Nothing in the Service creates a fiduciary, advisory, brokerage, or client relationship between you and CovertView. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and for laws that apply to you.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, branding, and content we create, is owned by CovertView or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes under these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except with our prior written permission. Market data remains subject to the rights of its providers.

9. Third-party services

You may use the Service next to charting platforms, brokers, or sign-in providers such as Google. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for them or for losses from your use of them.

10. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including markets, filters, and data sources. Features may change without notice.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COVERTVIEW AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON DELAYED OR INCORRECT MARKET DATA.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or USD $50 if you have not paid us.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CovertView and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your trading decisions, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using CovertView at any time. Provisions that should survive termination will survive.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Kathmandu, Nepal have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections where you live say otherwise.
